How long is the program?
The full-time programs are all 12 weeks long, requiring on-campus or online (nationwide) attendance to the instructor-led classes (Mon-Fri, 9am–5pm, MST). We recommend students in the part-time programs dedicate 20 hours per week to complete the program in 6 months.
What technical skills are required?
Students do not need to have previous coding experience, but they must have basic computer skills, such as: Mac or PC, install computer programs, create files, navigate a user interface, etc.
What language is the program taught in? Is it in Spanish?
No, the program is taught in English. Students must have a working knowledge of the English language; they must be able to read and speak English proficiently
How difficult is the program?
The program is hard work and requires dedication. It starts out with basic coding concepts, and provides coding challenges to complete. When the challenge is met the student moves on to more advanced concepts. Students interested in the program must be willing to work hard, want to learn, and be willing to take on a challenge.
How can I afford this? What financing options do I have?
As part of the atencion employee benefit, you do not have to pay until you get a job in the technology industry. You will sign an Income Sharing Agreement (ISA); ISAs are financial agreements in which the cost of tuition is repaid as a percentage of an individual's income for a fixed number of years.
